Loved having a shared lounge and a garden with a 24-hour front desk – perfect for when I couldn't sleep at night and needed someone to talk to. And the Asian breakfast was quite the experience.
Shame I couldn't enjoy my breakfast on my balcony – I guess the birds will never know what they're missing.

Great location, close to the main street and within walking distance to the beach. the room was spacious, clean, and had all the basic amenities. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and well-maintained. the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfasts were delicious and served in generous portions. it was a highly recommended accommodation for a budget trip.
The room can get quite warm if there is no window open, although there was a fan provided. the location of the lodge can be a bit tricky to find as it is not accurately marked on online maps.

The breakfast spread was incredible, with something different every day that filled me up for hours. the room was spacious and had plenty of storage space, making it easy to keep everything organized. the location was fantastic, with lots of cafes, restaurants, and the beach all within walking distance.
There was no reception when I arrived, and the WiFi wasn't working initially. the owner quickly sorted out the issue and provided me with new WiFi details.

The breakfast was superb - a delicious and filling Sri Lankan meal with a variety of dishes. the location of the hotel was convenient, close to both the bus station and the beach. the host was friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
The hot water had low pressure and the cold water in the rain shower only worked after 10 a.m., which was a bit inconvenient.

Absolutely loved our stay at this backpacker lodge! The best accommodation in Sri Lanka, mind-blowing breakfast with delicious Sri Lankan dishes. Our room was perfect - big, bright, and airy with a stunning jungle view. The location was ideal, close to the beach and away from the busy main road. The owner and his family were super cool and treated us like family. We were sad to leave after 4 awesome days. Highly recommended!

The room was incredibly spacious and clean, with a large balcony area where I could relax and enjoy the view. the bed was absolutely huge and so comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. the shower was fantastic, with hot water and great water pressure. the location of the hotel was perfect, just a short stroll away from the main town area and the beautiful beach.
my room did not have a mosquito net, unlike most other rooms. However, the hotel provided a plug-in device to prevent mosquitos, which was a thoughtful touch.
